What is #SANBeerDay?

Beer is our national beverage – let’s celebrate that!

South African National Beer Day is a collection of small scale events, promotions, educational sessions, pairings, specials and mini festivals held across the country on the first Saturday in February. Anyone can hold an event – just drop us a line to tell us what and where and we’ll add it to our map.

The inaugural #SANBeerDay in 2017 saw more than 50 events and promotions staged across the country.By 2020 we reached almost 200 events, plus huge participation from home via social media. Follow us and join the banter.
